Booking terms.

Clear rules for confirmations, cancellations, delays, groups and special requirements.

Updated 13 August 2026

01

Provider and scope

The restaurant service is provided by DECA S.r.l., Italian VAT no. 05117161009, with registered office at Piazza Navona 80, 00186 Rome, Italy, referred to below as “Camillo” or “the Restaurant”.

These terms apply to reservations made through OctoTable or the Restaurant’s contact channels. OctoTable acts as the technical platform; the restaurant service is provided by DECA S.r.l.

02

Confirmation

A reservation is valid only when it has been confirmed through the channel used to make it. Completing or sending a request does not by itself guarantee that a table is available.

The customer must check the date, time, number of guests and contact details in the confirmation and report any errors promptly.

Ordinary reservations made through the public OctoTable flow do not require a deposit, card guarantee or pre-authorisation, and no financial penalty applies. The only exception is a separately agreed booking for a group of more than 10 guests under the “Groups and coordinated bookings” section.

03

Changes and cancellations

To change or cancel a reservation, use the link or contact details provided in the confirmation. Changes are subject to availability.

A cancellation must be communicated to and received by the Restaurant at least two hours before the reserved time. A later cancellation is considered late; no financial penalty is charged for ordinary OctoTable reservations, but the customer must still notify the Restaurant as soon as possible.

A no-show occurs when none of the guests arrives after the 15-minute grace period and the reservation was not cancelled at least two hours beforehand. No financial penalty is charged for a late cancellation or no-show under an ordinary OctoTable reservation. For groups of more than 10 guests, only the specific terms communicated and accepted before confirmation apply.

04

Delays

The table is held for 15 minutes after the reserved time. Once this period has passed, availability cannot be guaranteed and the Restaurant may reassign the table.

If you are running late, please notify the Restaurant promptly.

05

Groups and coordinated bookings

A booking for a group of more than 10 guests is agreed case by case through a dedicated request. A group request is not a reservation until its conditions and availability have been confirmed by the Restaurant’s staff.

Depending on the event, number of guests and organisational requirements, the Restaurant may accept the booking without a set menu or require a set menu to be agreed in advance. It may also require no guarantee, or make confirmation conditional on payment of a deposit or provision of a card pre-authorisation or card guarantee.

If a deposit or guarantee is required, the Restaurant will communicate the exact amount, deadlines and terms applying to cancellation, no-show, repayment of the deposit and release or possible use of the guarantee before confirming the booking. Those terms must be expressly accepted by the group organiser; no amount is due and no guarantee applies without prior communication and acceptance. The group’s specific terms override the ordinary OctoTable rules only to the extent expressly agreed.

The 10-person limit must not be circumvented by splitting the same group across multiple coordinated reservations for the same date and service. Reservations may be considered coordinated when, for example, they relate to guests who intend to arrive, be seated or be served as one group, even if different names or contact details are used.

If an attempt to circumvent the limit is identified, the Restaurant may treat the reservations as a single group request and, based on actual availability and organisational and safety requirements, cancel all of them or confirm only the number of covers it can actually accommodate. This may mean, for example, retaining one reservation or one table and cancelling the others.

The number of covers confirmed may be lower than 10 and is not determined automatically by the number or order of reservations made. Any partial confirmation applies only to the covers communicated by the Restaurant and does not automatically give the organiser the right to choose which reservations or tables are retained. The Restaurant will communicate its decision as soon as possible.

Preferences concerning a table, room, position or proximity between multiple tables will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed.

06

Allergies and intolerances

Allergies, intolerances and other dietary requirements must be stated when making the reservation and communicated again to the staff on arrival.

Staff will assess whether the request can be accommodated and provide the available allergen information. Although the appropriate precautions are taken, the complete absence of accidental cross-contact cannot be guaranteed.

07

Right of withdrawal

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to reservations for restaurant services to be provided on a specific date and at a specific time. The change and cancellation options set out in these terms remain available.

08

Inability to provide the service

If the Restaurant cannot honour a confirmed reservation, it will inform the customer as soon as possible and, where available, offer an alternative.

09

Personal data

Personal data is processed to manage the reservation and related communications as described in the website’s Privacy policy.

10

Complaints, law and jurisdiction

For operational requests, use the contact details provided in the confirmation. Formal communications may be sent to the certified email address decabarocco@legalmail.it.

These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections. Where required by law, disputes involving a consumer are subject to the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile.
